Steam boats

 

These boats are probably the most graceful boats of the model boating world, although in the past there have been steam turbine driven racing Hydroplanes which were very quick.

 

Almost every type of model boat can be fitted with a steam boiler and steam engine, but there are strict rules on ensuring that the steam plant is inspected and checked regularly.

 

The most popular and common types of steam boat are either the tug or the launch.
