Mary Trannock Though not modelled on a specific ship the scratch built model is typical of coastal sailing boats used for bringing coal and taking ore from ports around the Southwest of England at the end of the 19th century. The steering and the sails are servo controlled by radio.

IJNS YAMATO.Japanese Super Dreadnought Battleship.Launched in 1940 and completed December 1941. The most characteristic features of the Yamato were her 18" guns mounted in three triple turrets, the largest ever fitted in a ship. They had a maximum range of 41,000 metres and could penetrate a 17" armour plate at 30,000 metres. On April 17th 1945 she was attacked by American planes, she was hit by 10 torpedoes and 8 bombs and sunk S.W of Kyushu, without proving the worth of her huge guns. |

The Model. Length 53". Beam 7 ˝". Driven by a single motor connected to gearing assembly and 4 screws controlled by forward/reverse Sea Rover speed controller. Powered by 6V lead acid battery. A R.C. line soft switch micro controller operates the movement of the 3 main turrets and the radar scanner.
