PRINZ EUGEN

Heavy Cruiser of the Hipper Class (late 1944 refit).

Model Scale 1:128

Prinz Eugen model is based on a Fleetscale hull and a very detailed Kriegsmarine plan backed-up by books and Internet information.

The superstructure and all fittings (apart from the Arado 196 Aircraft and some work boats) are scratch built.

Model Details.

Model started in Jan-00, but still requires some 250 hrs of fine detailing work to complete. When completed she will have gun firing sounds. Control is by a six channel radio. The working features are controlled as follows:-

CH-1 Speed control on Centre Shaft,.

CH-2 Speed control for both wing shafts.

CH-3 Rotate Guns.

CH-4 Rotate Guns.

CH-5 Rudder.

CH-6 Lights and sound system (still to be installed).
