The Boat Section
The boat section of the club has members whose interests vary widely. There are scale model boats such as tugs, fishing boats, launches, various commercial craft, warships and submarines. Other members like fast electric or IC boats, whilst others enjoy scale or the sedate and stately steam and sail boats.
We meet at the pond for regular Sunday club sailing sessions at 2 p.m. during the summer months from April to October. The dates of these sessions are shown on our Boat Calendar page.
The venue is the pond at Gang Warily Recreation Centre
Members also make arrangements between themselves for casual running of their boats and may be found at the pond at various other times.

There are benches available for members to use and plenty of room to allow you to bring along several models each without members being on top of another.
Members operate a wide range of different types of model and you can view some of them by browsing our web site.
