Radio controlled Model Boats, Cars, Helicopters and Tanks
Background on our Club
The Waterside Model Club was formed in 1981 to cater for the needs of all modellers from The New Forest and Southampton areas of Hampshire, England. The Club has sections for model boats, cars and helicopters with some members also making model tanks.
The boating section caters for Scale, Fast electric, IC, Steam and Sail. The car section caters for electric cars.
We operate at the Gang Warily Recreation Centre, which is located in the Waterside area of Hampshire between Holbury and Blackfield, near Southampton, England.
The centre offers adequate car parking, toilets and refreshments. There is a large pond for boating, indoor and outdoor facilities for car racing and a large area for helicopter flying.
